Cobblestone Farmers Market (CFM)
The local “outdoor grocer” you all know and love is currently operating from the parking lot of 1007 S. Marshall Street - just a short jaunt from its original location in Old Salem! 
 
Cobblestone Farmers Market is dedicated to significantly increasing equitable access to local, sustainably grown food in Winston-Salem, NC and growing our regional food economy by creating and nurturing diverse, thriving marketplaces.  

The parking lot of 1007 will be the permanent year-round location of CFM – Winston-Salem’s nationally ranked, fully sustainable public market hosting over 50 regional agricultural businesses weekly. Cobblestone not only accounts for annual gross sales of $1.5M circulating through the local food economy, they also bring a deep commitment to healthy food access through their robust community outreach and match program for SNAP/ EBT and Senior & WIC FMNP (Farmers Market Nutrition Program) recipients. After more than 3 years of consistently activating the vacant lots across our projects every Saturday, Cobblestone has steadily increased its weekly attendance, nearing pre-pandemic numbers once again and bringing new energy and interest to the potential of the project.

STEMZ
This flower distribution service founded in 2019 by two women - one a renowned flower designer, the other a local flower farmer - is focused solely on purchasing locally-grown goodness to boost the US-based flower industry and help farmers have a profitable sales channel.  

Their past personal experiences as both a buyer and a farmer led them to create STEMZ. Together, they’re building a regional distribution hub on a nationwide scale to connect their farmer partners and wholesale buyers through an innovative, intuitive technology platform. 

"We make buying local easy through weekly, multi-day delivery and concierge shopping services to save floral designers time. Our farmers’ blooms are pre-sold each week, meaning they can invest more time on the farm instead of piecing together delivery routes for blooms that may not sell. We also help build farmer profitability through proprietary forecasting tools to help guide pricing, types & quantities of blooms to grow.”
