Cobblestone Farmers Market (CFM)

The beloved “outdoor grocer” of Winston-Salem has found its new home at 1007 S. Marshall Street—just steps away from its roots in Old Salem.

Cobblestone Farmers Market (CFM) is on a mission to expand equitable access to fresh, sustainably grown food while strengthening our regional food economy through vibrant, community-centered marketplaces.

Now permanently located in the parking lot of 1007, CFM operates year-round as Winston-Salem’s nationally ranked, fully sustainable public market, featuring 50+ regional farms and food businesses each week. Generating $1.5M in annual sales that circulate directly into the local economy, CFM also leads with impact through community outreach and a strong match program for SNAP/EBT and Senior & WIC FMNP shoppers—ensuring healthy food is accessible to all.

After more than five years of activating the site every Saturday, the market has rebounded to near pre-pandemic attendance, infusing new life and energy into the Marshall Street project.
